Overview

This strategy uses the classic golden cross signal — when a short-term moving average crosses above a long-term moving average, it signals a potential uptrend.

Rules

Enter long when 20-period SMA crosses above 50-period SMA

Exit when 20-period SMA crosses below 50-period SMA

Always use a 5% stop loss

Take profit at 15%

Maximum 1 position at a time, using 25% of capital

Best For

Trending markets (SOL during bull runs)

Hourly timeframe gives good signal quality without too much noise

Weaknesses

Whipsaws in sideways/ranging markets

Late entries due to SMA lag
